Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing NutriAPP on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

Do you really know how to read the nutritional table of a product? Can you recognize if a processed product such as a soda or chips is high in sugars, saturated fats and / or sodium?
 
NutriAPP is the first application developed in Peru that will allow you to instantly identify packaged products following the standards recommended by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO / WHO).
 
This tool will allow consumers of products that are sold in Peru to have more information when making a purchase and thus favorably influence the choice of healthier foods and beverages.
 
The parameters used come from the Nutrient Profile Model of PAHO / WHO (2016), which is highly recommended for healthy choices.
 
FUNCTIONS of the APP:
- Infinite queries on processed products just by using the scanner in the barcode.
- Warnings of when a product is high in sugars, saturated fats and / or sodium.
- Record your own data to know when a specific product is high in sugar, saturated fat and / or sodium.
- Practical and valuable advice on nutrition called "Nutriconsejos" and how to read the nutritional table.
- Available in three languages: Spanish and English coming soon in Quechua.
- You can share the information with your friends if you are not satisfied that some products do not have complete information in their nutritional table on Facebook and twitter.
- You can contact us to request more information.
