It's a good app, privacy respecting which is huge, I like that no acct is required, can't understand the complaints about going premium as it already does a lot that others won't do in the free version, and premium is very cheap vs others. My only complaint is the old Material UI is outdated at this point and doesn't look right on phones anymore. Bumping it up to Material You would make it much more attractive to most.

You can define the type of bowel movement down to the last detail! Many descriptors, (with pictures too) to choose from. There is a time stamp, (that you can change if you want) and it has a box to write down whatever you want. There is no character limit I don't think? There are three optional questions, which are urgency, blood, and if it was painful. There is a calendar of each month like a period tracker. There is a cool analysis chart that you do have to pay for, and medication tracking.

I've used this app for 2 1/2 years, since Jan. 2021. It's unfortunate the developer thinks the paltry offerings of premium are worth so much or I would have probably subscribed years ago. I would prefer to purchase outright, but they're straight insane if they think I'm going to pay a tank of gas or a week of groceries just to access a few graphs. Not to mention the app is missing several QOL features such as swiping between pages when entering data.

I just downloaded the app. I think it would be helpful to have an option to log an approximate amount in addition to size (maybe also add a size comparison to that part, because everyone has a different scale). Other than that, so far it looks good, and I like the option to export in case we're logging for medical reasons and want to share with our doctor! I wish there were some analytics we could see with the free version, though. I would even be willing to watch ad videos to see that.

I appreciate this app, and the features it offers work pretty well. I didn't expect the app to run so nicely, or be so easy to use, but tracking this kind of thing, well. This app makes it super easy and convenient. The subscription options are absurd, however, and it's a shame, because I was prepared to pay for those features. But a recurring payment of $2.49/mo, $5.99/3 mo, $9.99/6 mo, $17.99/yr, or $42.99 for lifetime are frankly absurd for this kind of app! Half the price and it'd be fine.

It's a wonderful app. I've used it every day since the beginning of 2020. My only issues with it are that you can't record mixed "results". For example, if it's not all the same consistency I am forced to choose whatever it is mostly comprised of. Same goes for color. You ever have those times where it's half watery/half solid, or half light brown/half dark brown? It's not very accommodating for those instances. Overall it's a fantastic app, but I'd like more versatility as mentioned.

About this app

Track and analyse your bowel movements easily with Poop Tracker, then print out your stool analysis to quickly and easily share this data with your doctor.

Ever wonder what your bowel movements mean and how they affect your health? Curious to find out how frequently you suffer from bowel conditions like constipation, diarrhea, or bloody stool? Well now tracking your bowel movements is easier than ever.

Find out what consistency, color, frequency, and urgency means for your health by tracking and analyzing these stats over time, then use that data to determine if any issues, such as IBS, or crohn's are present.

Poop Tracker uses the Bristol Stool Scale to determine the quality of your poop and allows you to track and analyze your bowel movement data across all of your log entries.

Poop Tracker features include:

- Easily and quickly log every poop you take.

- Track poop stats like colour, Stool type (Bristol Stool Scale), urgency, size, bloody stool, pain, and custom notes. These metrics can be important to determine if you have any bowel problems such as diarrhea, constipation, ibs (irritable bowel syndrome), colitis, crohn's disease or any other chronic condition.

- Log 'No Poop' days and leave custom notes when you're constipated.

- View and modify previous poop log entries with our comprehensive calendar view of your stool history.

- Export or Import a CSV data file of all of your stool entries so your data can be saved and restored, or sent to your healthcare provider.

- View a data breakdown and graph of your stool statistics over time including metrics like when your bowel movements happen and a day by day history (premium feature).

Why track your bowel movements?

Tracking bowel movements can be a useful tool to gauge your stool health over time and potentially uncover any chronic problems you might have such as: IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome), Crohn's disease, Colitis, Celiac disease, Chronic Diarrhea, or Constipation by noticing patterns and irregularities in your stool that you may not have noticed otherwise.

If you already suffer from a chronic bowel condition, you can also benefit from maintaining a poop log as it allows you to monitor the severity of your symptoms and progression of these life altering diseases over time and share this data quickly and easily with your doctor.

About the Bristol Stool Scale:

The Bristol stool scale, or BSF scale is a diagnostic medical tool designed to classify the form of human stool into seven categories. It is used in both clinical and experimental fields. It is sometimes referred to in the UK as the Meyers scale. This is the scale used to track 'Type' in Poop Tracker because it is the most developed standard in many countries for categorizing feces.

New features

- Hotfix for slow gallery loading with a large number of entries.
- Hotfix "Urgency" toggle in log creation on certain device sizes. Also changed toggle text to "yes/no" to bring it inline with the other log options in the same section.
