This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Health Wearable on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

With this app users can explore the features of the ADI VSM Health device with sensors and algorithms. This app requires an ADI wearable or chest strap device. Please note, the system is for the purpose of engineering and not as a medical device. The app connects to the watch via BLE.

The wearable device enables the user to view:

•Data streams from sensors enabling
-an optical (for PPG)
-an accelerometer (for motion)
-ECG (electrocardiography)
-EDA (electrodermal activity)
-Temperature

•Algorithm output for
-PPG (photoplethysmography) with signal conditioning and heart rate algorithm output
-ECG HR
-Pedometer step count

The application supports:
•Connecting to and disconnecting from the Watch
•Using an off the shelf BLE HRM device as a reference
•Viewing of the battery and version information of the app and device firmware
•Viewing of the sensor signals and out of algorithms in real-time
•Configuration of the device
•Control of data logging to on-board device storage
