This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Heart Rate Buddy on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

Note - this is an exploratory app to check if heart rate monitoring can help with PTSD management. The app does not promise to help with any medical or psychological condition.

The watch app will vibrate if the user heart rate passes a limit predefined in the app. If the user's heart rate sensors shows an increase of a certain percentage in the last 10 seconds average compared to the 4 minutes average of plus one minute, the watch will vibrate.
