I liked old version. I was OK with new features but somehow when Friday rolls around I lost Thursday or else I faithfully enter calories each day and routinely forget Thursday. I didn't see how to leave that issue except here. I have my week starting on Monday.

I've been using this app for 6 years and very recently they completely changed the whole thing I hate it I'm so disappointed because it was the best simple calorie counter out there

I used to use one of the other more powerful calorie counters. It worked great but I spent a bunch of time adding new foods. With the more powerful app, I figured out what foods fit into my diet looking at balance of protein, fat, and carbs. Now that I know what to eat, I just need to make sure not to eat too much of it. This app does this without over-complicating things. I do recommend using one of the other more powerful apps if you are starting out. You can drink your days calories in soda if you want but this app won't tell you that you are severely deficient in protein intake. But if you generally eat healthy, then this is a great way of keeping track - quickly.

I used to use MyFitnessPal to count calories, but it seemed like with every update it got slower and slower, to the point where it would take me like a minute to open it and add calories. So I found this app instead, and it does almost exactly what I need, and is WAY quicker to use than MyFitnessPal. I do have some complaints and suggestions though. I don't think the default calorie options are optimal. I would greatly like to see a "5 calorie" button. I think it would be fine if the 50 calorie button were removed to make space. If the buttons could be customized, that would be even better. It would also be nice if there was a 3rd row of buttons. It looks like there is plenty of room for it. Finally, its a slight annoyance that when I press the "custom" button, I have to tap the text field before the keyboard will pop up. It should automatically have the focus in the text field and bring up your keypad.

Just what I needed. Super easy to keep track of my intake without the hassle. Wish I could go back a day to add things I forgot so my average would be right, or turn off the average, otherwise it's perfect.

Just a simple app for accurate calorie counting. So many other apps are overly complicated but this is exactly what I've been looking for.

About this app

This free app takes a different approach to counting calories. It revolves around the simple principle of tracking on a weekly basis (the "loop"), and banking your unused calories each day to reward yourself.

You will probably notice that this app doesn't have a way to search for food, create food diaries, track exercise, figure out how much fibre or fat you are consuming, or so many other things. This app is simple on purpose -- It's a lightning fast calorie tracking app with a refreshing twist, and we hope you like it.

If you set a reasonable daily calorie target, and work each week to hit your goal, you will quickly start seeing progress. You will even naturally learn to live a healthier lifestyle without any effort -- you will be surprised how easy it is.
