I love Adam Young and his podcast, seriously it's so helpful and eye opening! However, the app is nice, but it could be a little more user friendly. With that said, it's still much better than some of the podcast apps I've used.

So much of what I am hearing is me and it is also helping me with my therapy. In fact my Therapists suggested I listen and sent me the link. I couldn't stop listening and did 7 podcasts one after another . Very enlightening! Thank you!

Just started listening, but find something that applies to my story in every episode.

This has been the best podcast I've listened to. Adam is concise and to the point, even when interviewing a guest. I appreciate the lack of useless, silly chatter. The topics have enlarged my understanding of all that my counselor has been teaching me, as well as bringing a deeper understanding to the topics I wanted to dig deeper into from the book, Anatomy of the Soul, by Curt Thompson. Thank you, Adam!

I have been searching for healing for 40 years and now I finally find it through adam young podcast!!! I have share this to everyone I know and I have heard other similar podcast but none are as great and as practical as adam young. I pray for him daily and am soooooo grateful for God for his gifting and sharing it. This is not only for people who need healing but it's also for people who has every desire to draw closer to the heart of God and truly live in the power of resurrection life !

About this app

This is the most convenient way to access The Place We Find Ourselves on your phone.

The Place We Find Ourselves features private practice therapist Adam Young (LCSW, MDiv) and interview guests as they discuss all things related to story, trauma, attachment, and interpersonal neurobiology. Interview episodes give you a sacred glimpse into the real-life stories of guests who have engaged their own experiences of trauma and abuse. Drawing from the work of neuroscientists such as Allan Schore, Dan Siegel, and Bessel van der Kolk, as well as Christian thought leaders Dan Allender and John Eldredge, this podcast will equip and inspire you to engage your own stories of harm in deep, transformative ways.
