About this app

Electrocardiography (ECG) is the process of recording the electrical activity of the heart over a period of time. A typical ECG tracing is a recurring cycle of three electrical entities: P wave (atrial depolarization), QRS complex (ventricular depolarization) and T wave (ventricular repolarization). ECG has traditionally been interpreted as a method used for every important finding.

Under normal conditions the heart rate is between 60 to 100 beats per minute. Below 60 heartbeats are said to be bradycardia and a rate faster than 100 beats per minute is said to be tachycardia. But many athletes can have a normal resting heart rate of less than 60 beats per minute. The heart's electrical axis is the general direction of the ventricular depolarization wavefront in the sagittal plane (field of extremity leads and limb leads).

ECG recording can be influenced by patient movements, some rhythmic movements (such as chills or tremors) can create the illusion of an irregular heartbeat. This application contains a complete tutorial on how to read ECG easily and we will explain step by step to make it easy to understand. Hopefully useful and can help you in reading ECG. Thanks .
