About this app

The App is a part of our study through which we aim to use psychological theory to design digital indices and test their ability to predict suicide ideation and psychiatric hospital readmission in high-risk individuals: psychiatric patients after discharge. For this project, we will install an app on participants' smartphones, which will be activated after they are discharged from the hospital, and will be running for 4 weeks.

EMA: This app will ask participants questions about suicidal ideation and relevant psychological variables 5 times a day for 4 consecutive weeks.

Passive mobile sensing: The app also contains passive mobile sensing, registering variables such as walking time and space, general activity, time not moving/at home and social connectedness.

Digital coach: The app will have a digital coach (the name is currently decided upon) who guides participants through the whole process.
