MAX – dein Studiencoach wurde ausschliesslich zu Forschungszwecken entwickelt. Das Ziel ist die Abfrage von bestimmten Emotionen und Verhaltensweisen, die mit Angst in Verbindung stehen. Die daraus gewonnenen Informationen helfen dabei, die individuellen Schwierigkeiten der Nutzer besser zu verstehen und können dazu genutzt werden, die Psychotherapie an die Person anzupassen. Dadurch kann die Therapie verbessert werden. Dazu stellt die App mehrmals täglich im Rahmen eines Dialogs Fragen an den Nutzer.

MAX dient auch dazu herauszufinden, in welchen Momenten diese Fragen am besten übermittelt werden müssen, sodass der Nutzer sie mit grosser Wahrscheinlichkeit bemerkt und beantwortet. Dazu sammelt die App bestimmte Kontextinformationen, die darüber Aufschluss geben sollen, wann der User besonders aufnahmefähig für diese Fragen ist. Die gesammelten Kontextinformationen werden automatisch auf den Server der ETH Zürich verschlüsselt hochgeladen.

MAX sammelt die folgenden Kontextinformationen:
- Position (GPS)
- Bewegung
- Screen Lock und Unlock Events
- WLAN Information (nur das aktuell verbundene WLAN)
- Information zur Verbindung von Bluetooth-Geräten (z.B. Bluetooth-Kopfhörer)
- Batteriestatus
- Bildschirmhelligkeit

** WICHTIG **

Um MAX zu nutzen, ist ein Zugangscode notwendig. Der Zugangscode wird Studienteilnehmern von Mitarbeitern des OPTIMAX-Teams zur Verfügung gestellt, die ihre Einwilligung zur Studienteilnahme erklärt und die Eingangsbefragung abgeschlossen haben.
- Für den Zweck der Studie ist es erforderlich, dass die GPS-Funktion im Hintergrund genutzt wird, sodass Daten passiv gesammelt und hochgeladen werden können. Bitte wählen Sie „immer erlauben“ für Updates bezüglich Ihrer Position.
- Die kontinuierliche Nutzung der GPS-Funktion im Hintergrund kann die Akkulaufzeit verringern.
- Die GPS-Funktion wird auch genutzt, wenn die App geschlossen ist, was die Akkulaufzeit zusätzlich verringern kann.
