Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Pluxdroid on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

This application records signals from Biosignalsplux devices. You can visualize in real time the signals that are being recorded. The saved recordings can be share and send by several channels.

YOU NEED a Biosignalsplux device for the app to work. In some phones/tablets your Biosignalsplux may have problem to pair.

Here is a list of the devices in which we have tested the application (may change due to your smartphone android version or Biosignalsplux version)

Samsung Galaxy Tab

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE APP
1) Install the apk in your android phone.
2) Turn on the Bluetooth and pair your Biosignalsplux with your phone.
3) Start the Pluxdroid application in your Android
4) Press the button Start Recording
5) Press the button in the bottom Add a new configuration
6) Create a new recording configuration with the MAC for your Biosignalsplux. Choose an acquisition frequency of your pleasing. Sampling frequency is the frequency used to draw in the phone. Press Select channels to activate and check the channels that you want to record (if you select many channels depending on the power of your device you may have performance issues ). Press Accept. Now press “Select channels to display” and check the channels that you want to see. Finally press Submit. If later you want to edit a configuration you can do it with a long-press over it.
7) Now to record you need to press over your configuration and write the record name.
8) In the new window press Start recording and if everything is working well after a few seconds the signal will appear in the screen.
9) When you want to end the recording press in Stop recording, the software saves the recording.
10) If you want to download your recording in the home screen of the application press Browse Recordings. In the list select press over the recording that you want and choose any of the options to share it. Signals are stored in ASCII format within a compressed file. To access the signals, first unzip the file.
