About this app

To the ordinary people, Chi Kung is a set of relaxation exercises which can be deep breathing and/or slow movements of the limbs. Chi Kung calms you down after a stressful day; it lowers your blood pressure; oxygenates your body tissues; and prepares your mind for another day of positive hard work.

To the martial artists, Chi Kung can be that invisible muscle which gives you the extra power which you would need to use against an aggressive opponent.

To the healers, Chi Kung generates/circulates the heat energy that is used to move into the patients to help regulate and unblock stagnant/pain areas.

There are many different movements in chi kung. In this app, we concentrate on the main ones. Each exercise can be selectively performed by the stickman figure. The repetition can be set such that each exercise will be repeated for your convenience. The slower you perform the exercise the more you can feel that chi (energy) moving inside you. Always finish with the Ending exercise to push all the energy down away from your head.

These specific exercises had helped myself stop snoring at night; helped my son sleeps better; and together with other fitness exercises, it had helped my mother to get stronger after weakened by side effects of medical treatments. These reasons were the motives for the creation of this app.
