Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ADF Active: Entry Fitness Prep on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

I'm 59 and I adjust some of the exercises to meet my abilities. Eg instead of proper a push up, I have started with a vertical push up against the wall etc. I really like the voice telling me which exercise to do next and telling me when to stop. Very good app.

A great workout app, the concept is well implemented and an effective workout. Not sure how effective it is at passing the ADF fitness assessment as I haven't completed it but I personally found great fitness improvements using this workout. Adding a skip button to the breaks could be a nice improvement, music controls during the workout aswell as recommending stretches post workout but other wise the app functions well, is easy to understand and gets the job done.

Not sure if there is truly a guided workout plan depending on the date your PDF is but it certainly changes depending on the levels of extremism. App provides information on each exercise plus an audible video for each as well as tells you what will and won't pass while undergoing testing. The only downside is how quickly some of the exercises last for, aka on the rasirst difficulty its 10 / exercise. Too easy? App works perfectly fine otherwise and had no login issues. 100% recommend it.

Really good! Going into officer aviation, hopefully to become a pilot. Only problem I have is the necessity to include the military documents to sign up, if it were more accessible that would greatly benifet people attempting to get into shape!!

Assesment day I was told quiet clearly to download this even with reviews saying it does not work. So I download it and it just gives an error whenever I try to login. Even went as far to reset password to double check I wasn't using wrong login to no avail. Disappointed.

Needs work. Seeing how much weight you should use, rewinding sets if they go to fast, improved quality of life and ergonomics of the app in general.

About this app

ADF Active helps you train and prepare for entry into the Australian Defence Force (ADF). During the recruitment process, you'll undertake a Pre-Entry Fitness Assessment (PFA). This app will explain the PFA based on the Navy, Army or Air Force role you're applying for. It will also teach you the right techniques for each exercise, plus help you keep track of your fitness training progress.

You'll learn the right techniques, get personalised workouts, and keep track of your fitness with exercises like the beep test, push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups and more.

Get a tailored program designed to get you to the required fitness level for your gender and preferred service.
