Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing HRIA on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

The HRIA Ltd is the key national industry body representing the $4bn hire and rental industry in Australia. The Association brings members a diverse array of benefit services at both national and state levels. Members include Rental Companies, Suppliers and Service Providers with rental members ranging from national multi-location companies to the more traditional Owner-Manager single location. From general plant hire, DIY hire, portable buildings, construction, access and events, the HRIA’s membership base is continually expanding to cover increasing areas of hire and rental business and industry.

The HRIA App allows us to instantly provide you with up to date information relating to the hire industry. You are able to select information categories you like to receive and uncheck those you don’t. For example you may wish to select Meetings, Notices & News, but chose not to receive Red Alerts, What’s On and Convention.

The HRIA is aware how quickly inboxes and apps fill up and our policy will be to keep the stream of information flowing, but not overflowing!

To find the help options, click on settings and you’ll see the list along with a tutorial. We’ll send you material from your choice of categories and you can click on items of interest to read in more detail.
