Instructions say "no sunlight, flash, or shadow" but the lighting is actually very picky or it does not acquire photo. The "think time" after photo was over 15 minutes with only a hard-to-see indicator that anything was happening. The menu options are grayed-out all the time and so do nothing when selected. The descriptive-word results are ambiguous and unquantified - what do "optimal" and "moderate" mean? A cheap urine dipstick at least gives meaningful units and a quantitative range.

Update, I was contacted by support and realized the App requires camera permissions. After I fixed it, it now works. The app should notify you that they need to be allowed. They also sent me some more test strips too. Did the first test, followed the directions, when the timer ended the ap just closed. Tried it multiple times and the same thing happened over and over. Would never open the camera to take the picture. Wasted a test strip. Using a Samsung Note 10+

Buggy, gimmicky, and an unpleasant user experience. Does not allow you to test whenever you need only when the app decides its ok (once every 24 hours although even that is not consistent). Was so excited to try this but its honestly pretty disappointing. Sometimes the app spins forever after a test and does not complete. The only way to get out is to clear the cache and re-auth. Wasted several of the expensive paperboard strips to figure this out lol. Ordered normal test strips going forward.

Like so many people, I have wasted several strips with no results. I try to take a photo, keeps giving me errors but when I'm repositioning the camera, it suddenly starts to process and locks me out of trying to take another photo. It spins and spins for up to half an hour before saying it cannot process the test. A HUGE waste of money and frustration. I got these to check my Dad's health and is probe to UTIs. This is not a game for me. It could be life or death for him. WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!!!

Was so good until it crashed and I've wasted 4 strips... says please check the internet connection. My connection is fine. Waste of over $60. Almost a year later and still nothing has been done about this. It was working just fine and four of my strips are wasted and now I have an entire set of strips that can't even be used and I paid over $60 for them. Nobody has done anything to rectify this situation and that's not the best way to do business. I understand things take time, but 11 months?

I'm normally in high ketosis and the app shows contradicting results. It shows "Your value 5-15" not above optimal, between 5 - 15 on the scale, but above negative, between 0 - 5. And in the description, it mentions I'm hitting the sweet spot for ketosis. So what's true? Either the strips aren't able to detect ketones properly or the app doesn't show the result correctly.
