With the Hypertension.App, we want to educate the population about blood pressure in an interactive and personal way. Many people are affected by high blood pressure, but only a few are well informed.
Hypertension Care offers a digital guide, based on in-depth knowledge about blood pressure. The app combines diary entries for blood pressure and other vital parameters with an extensive blood pressure library and provides personalized advice and evaluations.

The Hypertension.App was developed together with the Hypertension Center Munich and Prof. Dr. med. Martin Middeke. The recommendations are based on the current state of research and the guidelines of the European Society of Hypertension (2018).

+ Blood pressure Measurement +
You can enter and document your self-measured blood pressure values and the measurements taken in your doctor's office, including the 24-hour ambulatory measurement, and also synchronize it with Google Fit. You will receive charts, statistics as well as individual feedback on your values. In addition, you can perform guided breathing exercises within the app as an effective immediate measure for lowering blood pressure, relaxation and stress management.

Thanks to a professional library, you will get direct personalized feedback on your blood pressure in the form of a digital guide. You will be informed about different forms of hypertension, causes, risk factors and also about drug-free alternatives for lowering blood pressure.

+ Meaningful Reports +
You can save or send your blood pressure diary as a PDF report. This contains all the statistics and evaluations of your self-measured blood pressure values that are important for your doctor, as well as information on your entries related to symptoms, weight and stress.

+ Diary +
In your personal health diary, you can enter blood pressure values, as well as information on your symptoms, stress levels, weight, pulse wave analysis and medication. Blood pressure and weight values can be synced directly with Google Fit.

+ Health Profile +
You can create a health profile and provide information on medication, physical activity, previous illnesses, heredity and more. This way you will be given an individualized guide and the most important information about your health will be recommended to you.

+ Reminders +
If you have high blood pressure, regular blood pressure measurements are important. Prof. Middeke recommends a measurement directly after getting up. Reminders will help you to measure your blood pressure or take your medication regularly and at the prescribed times.

App Permissions

Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
