"The only way this app is lesser to ""regular"" therapy is the element of human touch because sometimes a handshake or pat on the back is so helpful. But the app does everything else just like a regular therapist does - you can use video or phone calls if you want more of a ""real"" feeling and if youre a little shy you can stick to texting and it works just fine"

Forced to pay before service and before reviewing therapist. The rates shared for comparison are wrong, a regular therapy for me was 50 euros per session, NOT 150-200 as mentioned. No way to choose the therapist, they're matched with you, which is a way for them to ensure more money to be paid... Not better than Better Help...

At first I didn't realize that every one of the therapists on this app are real counselors with real credentials and they are licensed by the state - this isn't some nice support ground it's actual psychological therapy and that means it's just the most incredible value for money compared to regular therapy

My path to recovery has been a long one and it's not easy. It's hard for me to afford a therapist and basically as a last resort I went online to try and find some help because I felt on the verge of a relapse… I got so lucky to find this app. It's still not cheap, but a lot more sensible than a regular therapist and always accessible... I'm lucky.

As a counselor myself, this app is doing God's work by making therapy accessible to people

Careful. The associated site is iCounseling. They try to force you to pay before even testing the service. It's been widely proven most of those online therapy are scams, employing dodgy non professionals. steep upfront cost (200£ min) with no guarantee for a company with 0 brand awareness or name recognition. Couldn't find any user review at all too. Email address associated with the app is not a professional one. Very dodgy. Don't give your credit card details to them.
