This app and camera sucks. is NOT easy to install despite all the advertisements. i have upgraded laptop and cell phone and can not install on this camera on either device. states my firewall is the problem. but i do not have firewall on my phone and i disabled firewalls on my laptop. this app is not compatible with laptop, but i used the step by step guide as per manual download from skylink home . com . sucks all around

Works great! Just have to restart or toggle buttons during/after set up or restart the app. Main thing is to set up the camera the right way coz there are multiple ways to connect your camera to your network. One of my cameras was saying "incorrect password" so i have to lig in everytime i open the app. I deleted the camera and re installed in a different way and now its working just fine. And the recording works just fine with the sd card. Great job guys!

The notification alerts stopped working on both Android and IOS. There has to be a server error causing this. Despite emails sent to the developers, no fix had been made. The camera and app is useless without it.
