Today marks the third time since I have started using the app that the dev has put ads with a new way to remove the ads. The first time, it was a review to remove ads, which I did. The second time, they wanted you to purchase the ad free version of the app, which I did. Now, there's a massive banner across the bottom of the app with an ad asking, once again, for you to purchase the ad free version. This time is too much. DON'T PURCHASE THE AD FREE VERSION; it won't be ad free for long.

Was pretty decent and worked well but just this morning i have a massive ad banner at the bottom of my screen. going to uninstall and find something else. Update: still a 1 star, now I get ads when I check someone's profile. Amazing. Couldn't be happy with the ads filling the feed and at the bottom but now you need to jam them wherever you can? What's next, I check my mail box and ads in there too? I want a cut if you do that as it was my idea.

I paid $4 and there are still ads. Not what I would expect for paying so much. Edit the developer responsed and said its a problem with the Google api and to follow instructions on the left drawer. That message in the left drawer is gone now and I dont have it. Regardless, it is the developers responsibility to not push an update if it will break a service that has already been payed for. I followed those steps and I am still getting ads.

I really hate the new ads. I keep everything in dark mode and often read in bed and now there's a super bright ad illuminating my face all the time. Please make a paid version that removes ads. I don't want to move to a different app. I like this one. Response to dev: So I just checked my history as I was pretty sure I had already paid at some point, and sure enough I did on May 1st, 2019. I'm still getting ads sporadically.

Tried it out to see if I like it better than RiF, but I don't. The UI is good and settings are easy to access, but changing fonts for content doesn't seem to stick and it doesn't offer access to moderation tools. It's better than the official reddit app, but what isn't? Good effort, I recommend it for novice users.

Downloaded after my other reddit app stopped working. Honestly didn't mind it at first, it does things slightly differently than I am used to, but very easy to pick up. Now, my original app is back up, and I'm not going back. I'm sticking with Joey. Gifs load way more smoothly and the overall experience is just...better. Great app!
