It makes sense that they say it's "designed to be deleted," because after about a day that is exactly what you want to do. Once the app figures out who you're interested in, they start moving all of the people you would have "liked" behind a pay wall. You also have to constantly check the app for matches and messages because you will not always get notifications.

The app is super glitchy. Get a notification but it takes forever for a message to show up in the conversation history. Sometimes you don't even get a notification until you open the app. Messages don't even want to send through. There needs to be like an active status or "seen" message. Some people you swipe away from but maybe a week later they come back. I like the idea of the app but needs to be alot of fixes that is for sure.

I was extraordinarily disappointed with this service. Buggy, confusing to use, very few matches, and can only see one at a time. Paid subscription doesn't seem to offer any benefits, and you're still required to make separate a la carte purchases for "Roses." Bills itself as "the dating app for people who hate dating apps," but everyone on it seems to be on every other app as well. None of the prompts or preferences really tell you anything about a person, beyond their creative writing skills. No way to filter geographical preferences beyond distance, which is a problem when you live next to but outside a city. Also they matched me with my ex-fiance, which you can decide for yourself means the algorithm works or not.

Massive cash grab. Truly predatory. Hinge used to be the best dating app by a large margin. Now with standouts, all of the matches you would be interested in are locked behind a paywall. Literally they will not be shown in your normal feed. You get one free rose a WEEK to send to a standout. The rest? $4 a pop, or $30 for 12, $50 for 50 LOL. Imagine paying that much money just to send a message or a like to someone? This app has become a joke. Thanks for ruining another app Match group. Pathetic

I used to like this app before this new update. Now it's super glitchy and I chat even get messages to load...how am I supposed to talk to someone of the chat won't load AT ALL. Also this whole pay thing is just stupid, it does nothing for you. Please bring back the old platform and algorithm as it was so much better because I'm seriously about to ditch this app and I won't be recommending it at all

Most of the experience is chatting with people and seeing how it goes, yet, this app has NO persistence of drafting messages. You accidentally tap the home button? Write it out again. You tab out to another app to check something? Write the whole things again. There are so many times this happens that you eventually tire and give up messaging people you've already typed a message to, and its not the fault of your match. The fault is on the lazy developer that never knew this was a problem.
