Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing DafDroid BETA on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

DafDroid is the first available free gemara browsing app that utilizes Tzuras HaDaf images.

Using images provided my E-Daf.com , DafDroid users can learn wherever they are, whether they are learning Daf Yomi on the bus, or chazering a shiur in a waiting room.

Please note that this is a BETA release, and may contain some errors. Please contact YID Software through the email link below to report any bugs, and we will work to fix them as soon as possible.

NOTE: OFFLINE MODE IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. AN INTERNET CONNECTION IS REQUIRED TO USE THIS APP. The offline mode will IY"H be added soon.
