Our app was created with the help of tax advisors. It complies with all German tax laws and follows the highest data protection standards on the market.

Our Vimcar dongle: The OBD-plug records your trips through an integrated SIM card and GPS receiver. They are automatically stored in an encrypted logbook on the Vimcar server—no smartphone required for your trip.
Your privacy: Use the OBD-plug with or without the GPS receiver function—it’s up to you. The dongle saves addresses and records a trip’s start and ending point, never its route. Turn it on and off with just one tap.
