I've been able to grab a few gigs via the platform, which I appreciate, but the fee (20%!) is egregious and it takes them WAY too long to pay out. 5 days after funds have been APPROVED for them to be depositable. Extremely frustrating to be paid and have it take a week before your earnings are actually in your account. The experience using the platform is fairly solid, but the financial hoops are insane.

This doesn't work at all. It just keeps loading and then shows errors and suggestions to contact support. I have tried updated version after uninstalling previous one. Totally disappointed. Edit: Recent updates have solved some issues but notifications and messages need attention. I never get notified in time so I can't respond to clients timely. Please fix this.

I have no issues with Upwork as a platform, but the app sucks. I have just lost count on how many projects i have missed in because of the app. One time i was texting an client the messages were never sent even it was showing it was sent, the client thought i was ignoring him and gave the job to someone else. Also a recurring issue is of attaching files. Whenever I attach protfolio images in my pitch the app just refreshs comes to the home screen and everything I had written vanishes. Just uhh.

The new Search tab is stupid, it made my kboard pop in&out randomly. Whoever thought this structure is better than previous version they ought to be outside queueing for a new job--it's NOT better. Also DISPLAY THE JOB AD TITLE IN FULL PLEASE, don't show like 16 characters max and everything else after that is dotted, no one has the time to second-guess or click on every single one of the listing. Thank you.

I tried to contact customer support to report suspicious activity and was instead sent from page to page only to end up waiting for a very long time on their bots messaging platform to be connected to a representative that never came.

This mobile app is annoying.... Loading, loading ..... And wastage of time. Unable to understand that why the leading freelance platform is not getting fix the issue?
