This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing GuardianHome on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

App does NOT work with the the G27xx series as marketed. Try unpated for the existing app instead!

Hi Uniden, i wonder why you guys have released this. Please update this app with the fixes. It's really hard to use this. Wrong messages are displayed. For eg. I got gshc 5000. When i try to connect to it it gives the message "your shc xxxxxxxx been low battery" even it is plugged in to ac.

Can't access gateway through internet. How can you monitor when you can't even connect to the device when you are away. Uniden is the worst security home minitoring ever. Don't buy this rubbish hardware and app.

Waste of money, won't connect. Can't be this hard

App does not work. Can't even detect my wifi - even when I manually add the details. Worst app ever for wifi cameras. REALLY NEEDS ALOT OF IMPROVEMENTS.

The Uniden Guardian Home App works with the Uniden Guardian Smart Home Control Series of Home Security Products. Guardian Home App allows you to set up security scenarios for your home or business. For example if a wireless door sensor opens, then you can have the system automatically turn on lamps, sound the built in siren, start recording on your cameras and send you an email or notification to your phone.
The Uniden Guardian Home App is compatible with the Uniden Guardian G24xx Series, G27xx Series and G29xx Series. It is also compatible with our latest Uniden App Cam series of WiFi cameras Including App Cam 24, App Cam 25, and App Cam 26. You can view all of your cameras directly from the app. The Guardian Home App is the solution of having the ultimate connected home.

No monthly fees are required. Everything is automatic and will let you know when something happens.

New features

To enjoy the improvements, upgrade Security Hub and app together:
1. Update app to this version
2. Make mobile devices and the Hub stay at the same wifi router LAN.
During the update, do not switch from Wifi to Cellular data.
3. Connect to the Hub, go to advance setting for update checking.
4. Update process may take around 10 minutes. When the Hue beeps, the update is completed.
