As for a potential photo privacy issue referred to in another user's review, there is no need to worry. The photo/camera rights are needed because there is an in-app gallery (completely separate from your normal photos/videos) which you can use to take and share photos of the event.

I don't understand why the app wants access to my media. It feels very intrusive and I won't agree.

Stable app filled with lots of great info and resources. Takes a little getting used to in terms of finding specific things, but with a little time, it's super helpful
