Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing YardCheck on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

Yard check is an android app used to monitor trucks that are currently in yard and to monitor daily truck traffic to and from yard.

To use this app, one will require to subscribe. As of now the yard check module is visible to all SwissText users until March 29, 2018. After this date only subscribed customers will be able to access this module.

To subscribe for this module open Customer Master software, select the customer
and click on the blue number on the left. This will open subscriptions box. Generate a new
license key and select YardCheck from the product drop down. Do not forget to mark this
subscription as active.

Startup Setup

Once subscribed ‘Yard Check’ option will be visible in the main menu of SwissText software. To
start using software user must do following steps:

1: Integration Service Update
Fleet Swiss Integration must be updated before anything else if user has Fleet Manager
software installed.

2: Create Yard Users
Select ‘Manage Yard Users’ option from Yard Check menu. This will open Manage Users page.
Click on Add New button located in far right part of the screen. Enter desired user name,
password and email of the user name. On clicking Save will create a user and will send an
email to the given email detailing yard user login information.

3: Create Yards
Select ‘Manage Yards’ option from the Yard Check menu. This will open Manage Yards page.
To add yard click on Add New button on far right part of the screen. Enter yard name and
location and click on save.

*Note: NFC is mandatory required in phone or tablet for "Driver Check-in"
