The app actively suggests other members of the San Diego startup community that can actively help you (or whom you can help) depending on your industry, what you're looking for, what you can offer, your interests, skills, experience and location.

This makes it super easy to find other like-minded community members, create authentic connections, have meaningful interactions and build a strong professional network.

You can swipe left or right to browse profiles and can start a chat in the app when you want to connect with somebody to arrange to meet up in person.



How to use this app?

1. Tell us a bit about yourself

You tell us what you are looking for and what you can offer (e.g. co-founders, funding, mentors, job opportunities, clients, investment opportunities etc.) and we suggest other members of the Startup San Diego community (you don’t know yet) that can help you or that you can help!

While you are sleeping, the Startup San Diego app is busy discovering profiles that match to yours.



2. See matches

Our algorithm takes your (chosen) location, your goals, your industry, your interests and the ways you prefer to meet - and we match you to others who are a good match.

To make interaction easier, we’ll tell you the reasons why you would benefit from connecting with each suggested match.



3. Connect, chat and meet

Once you are connected, you can chat and organise in-real-life meetings.

The app helps you create valuable new connections both professionally and socially.

Using the app before, during or after Startup San Diego events (such as Startup Week) allows you to discover who else is in the city at the same time as you that you should know.
