Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SherpaDesk Customer Support on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Cannot use the app, always gets an error, cannot load configuration. The web page works perfectly for a one man band like me. But the mobile app does not work.

the only problem with this app in the interface is that when you slide to close it tanning on the setup you can't close it without putting a time in which comes up required by administrator but neither of my supervisors have changed anything. you can transfer and do all that other good stuff but closing a ticket seems to be an issue it requires you to put a time in so I actually have to use the web-based link. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 and I've uninstalled and reinstalled at different times.

App needs a lot of work. I click on a ticket, then it asked me if I'm sure I want to close it. This happens all day long. GUI doesn't work correctly half the time. Very few customizable options. Quite often doesn't sync correctly, and you can't force refresh it. Timestamp implementation is terrible. It will say a reply was from 1 minute ago, when it was actually from hours or days ago. The web version of this app has many issues too.
