App was working as intended for a very long time. All of a sudden, when I exit the app, I am able to access the contents without a PIN, or Iris check. I've checked my settings over and over. It only asks me once for my password, then upon exiting, I can access as many times with no security check. Basically, AUTOLOCK FEATURE IS NO LONGER WORKING. THIS IS A SERIOUS SECURITY ISSUE. UPDATE: (NO LONGER SEEMS TO BE AN ISSUE)

Using this app is like having 2 phones...in one. I am able to have a set of the some of same apps as I have on my phone in this app, and having its own security log-in details. The app can also be camaflauged, renamed and hidden. It gives confidence of having location to store files and operate from. You can even take pictures from this space and send files from your phone to this Folder on the same phone and back out again. And it is so much more. Simply Amazing!

Love love love !!! No issues here. You can even choose not to have the secure folder displayed among your other icons or apps until you need to use it, thereby ensuring even more security. I wonder with some of the complaints I see here maybe their type of phone could be the problem. Anyways absolutely loving this app. Thank you Samsung!

Still no solution to the PIN/Password access not working after update? Do you realize how many people rely on this app and how unsafe you're forcing your users to feel? Fix the problem NOW. Password Reset button doesn't prompt a login screen, selecting the linked samsung account doesn't revert the path back to a login process. This is basic coding, get your S@#$ together.

I think there is an annoying thing with secure folder. It made me factory reset my phone two times. When you turn it on, immediately it triggers a Google voice update. That goes on and on, and up to now still going on. The worst part is , it's annoying to realize that nothing is actually happening and it tells you it's waiting for Wi-Fi, dear heavens o have the Wi-Fi working . Can someone get his or her hands on this ASAP

I forget my password, which typically wouldn't be an issue with most software but when it directs me to sign into Samsung it then says "your Samsung account has been changed" an option below lets me sign in, but no longer seems to be linked to the secure folder and I see no way to reset that password. Please fix this, its incredibly frustrating and ive wasted hours already

About this app

This update is available for Samsung Mobile with Android 7.0 and above.

Secure Folder leverages the defence-grade Samsung Knox security platform to create a private, encrypted space on your Samsung Galaxy phone. Apps and data moved to Secure Folder are sandboxed separately on the device and gain an additional layer of security and privacy.

Easier and more convenient
Store your private files and apps safely. It's easy to move apps and data by tapping "Move to Secure Folder" or by importing them via "Add files" from inside Secure Folder. Your personal apps and data will be separated and encrypted so that they are protected from malicious attacks.

More secure
Lock your Secure Folder with an additional PIN, pattern, password, or biometric lock, so that only you can access your private pictures, apps, and data.

Effectively manage data
Add or copy your apps and data into Secure Folder. You can use Secure Folder to store your private contacts, photos, and more in a separate account. This allows you to have two profiles on a device so you can manage your data more effectively.

※ Secure Folder will operate only on official software released by Samsung Electronics. Features or UX may vary depending on the device, OS version, etc.

※ Secure Folder is a service, based on Samsung account, that provides an independent, isolated environment within your mobile device. Applications and data moved or added to Secure Folder (e.g. photos, audio files, movie files, and documents), will not be accessible from outside Secure Folder, whether by USB or Wi-Fi Direct. If your mobile device detects any rooting or custom ROMs, Secure Folder will automatically lock-up in order to prevent unauthorised access, in which case you will no longer be able to access or use the contents within Secure Folder. Therefore, please make sure you back up any important applications or data elsewhere, such as on your personal computer, before moving them to Secure Folder. Samsung is not responsible for any data loss or inaccessibility.

Use Backup and Restore of the below path to store your customers' data more safely.
Secure Folder > Settings > Backup and restore > Back up Secure Folder data

[Required Permissions]
The following permissions are required for the app service.
