This is surprisingly, but not too much, a really nice app for learning japanese! It does its job correctly, it's boosting both my motivation and skills and is incredible! And when I say it boosted my skills I really meant that as I learned many words in just a few days and can now form even simple sentences. The collectibles, the manga and mascot are really good to see here too! I can see you really put an effort on this so thank you for giving me the chance to communicate properly in Japan.

Really fun app that actually works. You can practice vocabulary, grammar and kanji, but what's most important for me is that you can learn equivalent sentences from different registers (e.g, asking for ones name with increasing level of formality). The games are fun as well. I'm practically addicted to Shiritori and it has helped me remember vocabulary better than anything. Definitely recommend!

I wish I'd found renshuu when I started learning Japanese. Being able to tap any part of a sentence to see its meaning and reading after the question is fantastic, yet lacking in all the apps I've tried. My only notable issue is that there's no clear way to find explanations for conjugation. I highly recommend starting renshuu a few months into RTK (or limit yourself to kana vocab), and read Tae Kim's grammar guide alongside renshuu.

This app is amazing, it has a lot of options for customisation to suit your learning pace and goals. There are tons of lessons and games that will surely help with then learning process. It's amazing to know that there are only 2 people behind renshuu. What I enjoyed most is how I can send a PM to the developer (Michael) directly and he is super responsive, this makes my learning experience a lot more special!

A delightful tool that's helped me stay on top of my studies even when I'm not near my books or laptop. Easy to navigate and has little daily missions to encourage engagement! I appreciate the awesome amount of features available even without paying for pro (though if you can afford it, I'd recommend getting the pro version because of how much it expands on what's in the base app *and* to support the dev) Been recommending this app to my study group too! EDIT: Misclicked- absolutely 5/5 👍

I've been using this everyday to supplement the reading i do by textbooks. it asked me which textbook i was on and had my textbook listed (Genki). if you're serious about learning vocab and kanji, the way renshuu does it is simple and effective imo. just remember if you get stuck there are kanji and word dictionaries and you can access them anytime. also remember to mark troublesome words you forget often. they have games too you can play. i don't use them that often but they might appeal.
