SentireAI is an artificial intelligence-based emotion, mood, and personality trait recognition and reporting application. We aim to help psychologists with diagnosis by analyzing and documenting possible sudden emotional changes that may be unnoticed during the sessions. With the help of machine learning, we are providing a tool that may catch sudden changes in emotions, which makes this application an advisory material for psychologists.

Full Description of Our Project

Our project is composed of three parts:
For part 1: We talked to Psychologists and reviewed through psychological disorder diagnosis materials and decided that a tool for recognizing abrupt emotion changes in emotion and mood during sessions was necessary.

For Part 2: We researched for different emotion, mood and personality trait recognition models and trained three models using multiple datasets.

-Dataset for “emotion from image model” consists of 98033 face images
- Dataset for “emotion from audio model” consists of 2880 speeches
- Dataset for “personality trait from video model” consists of 10000 video clips

For part 3: We developed an android application ,SentireAI, which aims to become an advisory tool for psychologists. Sentire AI APP helps psychologists recognize sudden emotional changes during the therapy sessions and during virtual therapies where the quality of the video stream is very low in real-time and also after the session is finished using the file analysis feature. By extracting abrupt emotional variations as a pdf report allows psychologists to reanalyze the session and share their analysis with other psychologists.

Sentire AI app provides methods for visualizing emotion data such as by creating emotion graph, thus making it easier to understand data of long sessions. Sentire AI APP have helpful features such as cloud backup and PDF reporting utilities accessible after signing-up. Sudden changes in emotions are pointed out in pdf report and are colored for the convenience of psychologist.

Using this application as an advisory material in therapy sessions helps psychologists to shape the content of the session and to make a better diagnosis since the application catches sudden changes in emotions which may go unnoticed. Moreover, by using the file upload feature, a psychologist may use Sentire AI as a tool to recognize emotion changes in previous sessions, saving a great deal of valuable time.
