It's doable and workable but the app has numerous, numerous bugs on my Android phone. Docs cannot be edited, nor exported. Tapping anywhere on the document does not bring up a keyboard or formatting toolbar. Animations do not appear in chat windows. Sometimes titles appear with black text in dark mode. A lot of the settings are not accessible, and require you to go on the desktop app. There are no widgets and no long-press shortcuts. There's no way to access data offline.

Full disclosure: I really love Nifty and am a lifetime user. The desktop app is excellent but this app can be hit or miss. They often make changes and introduce bugs and if you aren't observant you WILL miss things. Also, app notification are unreliable. Watch your email instead. But the latest updates were really good and gave a needed update to the app.

I use Nifty for my business and household. I have a few client projects that I'm able to send them action items for review before completing the milestones. I use for my household to keep me straight on things I need to do on a daily/weekly basis. It has been so useful and communicating things that need to be done and things that have been completed! Tech Issue solved: I reached out to the developer due to a problem with the app loading on my Pixel 2. They sent a response with fix and it worked. I have confirmed that the recent update is working perfectly on all my devices.

The app is barely working. I CANNOT upload any image to a task no matter which method I try. Also, when you click on the back button, NiftyApp doesn't have "exit app prevention" like most of the other apps do and because of that you're finding out of the application every time you mistakenly click the back button 1-2 times more ! - MAJOR FLAW! I also see no option to see my tasks as a list, only as a kanban, which is ridiculous for mobile app! Even in the kanban you don't have image preview on the task (if you put an image snippet in the description) so it's worst of both worlds - kanban and no images on the kanban?! Who makes these UX mobile decisions guys? Fire him. Otherwise the normal web NiftyApp is AWESOME. It has it's flaws (like when you enter a task, you should click on "add a task" again to add another task, which is very tedious and bad UX experience) But Nifty definitely has it's potential. I would rate it 2 stars for the app, but since I really love the main app I would give it 3.

I really like the web platform and use it regularly for my job, but the app is limited and buggy, and is mainly useless for me.

Great tool. App is pretty close to website experience. Sometimes it hangs on going back a page, but I just close and restart the app. Not a big deal. I really appreciate that the app is not dumbed down. You can do everything on your phone that you can on the normal website.
