This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MeterWalk on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

MeterWalk is a mobile app for marinas, boatyards, RV Parks, and other rental properties using the MarinaOffice management solution that wish to perform mobile utility meter reads and/or perform rental space occupancy monitoring and recording.

METER READ

Easily perform utility meter readings with the MeterWalk meter entry feature. Record up to three meter readings per slip or rental space and easily sync back to the MarinaOffice marina management solution for utility billing.

DOCK WALK

Verify and record the occupancy status of each slip or rental space with the dock walk feature. Record the accuracy of the current occupant for each slip or rental space while recording any exception information and notes for incorrect occupants.

HOW IT WORKS

The MeterWalk mobile app synchronize slip and occupancy data with the MarinaOffice marina management solution utilizing the MARIAH (Marina and Recreational Internet Applications Home) cloud platform.

1) Begin the meter read or dock walk process by initially selecting the synchronize menu option in order to make sure the mobile app contains the most up to date information.

2) Perform the mobile meter reads and/or dock walk process.

3) Select the synchronize option again in order to push the MeterWalk data back to the MARIAH cloud platform and the MarinaOffice marina management solution.

NOTABLE FEATURES

MeterWalk provides additional features for owners/management of multiple marinas or properties. MeterWalk has the ability to link multiple properties together in order for users to easily switch between property locations within the same app.

MeterWalk also provides the ability for the user to sequence the meter reads and dock walks in any order they wish. This provides an easy means for those users whose rental spaces are identified/numbered in a non sequential order.
