This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Mattermost on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. I'm a Product Manager and I've been using Mattermost for about 3 months now. I have loved the experience... I've actively discouraged my company from migrating to Slack. I like it here... The fact that I can go back to see message history is so cool. Nice work.. Your new update is messing up the mobile app. Can't load images

Not as good as Telegram's UI/UX. Startup splash is ugly with dark theme. Unread messsage count does not update properly. Things I've scrolled and read don't always get updated thus I have to repeat

Since the latest batch of updates, when I go to use the Android app, if I fully close the application, and then go back in, I am ALWAYS asked for the server to which to connect, and re-enter my credentials... but, I continue to receive push notifications like I'm still logged-in. I am running the latest 1.42.1 mobile version and my company just updated the server to the latest version yesterday. I have also deleted storage/cache/and fully uninstalled/reinstalled. This is 100% reproduceable for me. Remove app. Install app. Open app. Enter server/user credentials - I'm in!! Yay! Back out (press back again to exit). Close app. Re-open app... oh awesome, I have to reconnect/re-login to the server again. Sadtrombone. Please fix. I have a Pixel 4XL. UPDATE: "Have you tried turning it off and on again" did the trick! Sorry for the false alarm but thank you for the very quick response!

Workes fine till the new update. After trying to start with the older version, it said, that version not supported. Okay, but after updating all login data was deleted and I cannot connect to the server. Desktop version works fine

Clicking the top left or top right hamburger menus do not work. I need to change the setting so the live chat feed doesn't skip to present when I am scrolled up trying to read past messages. Not even sure if this setting is possible because the menus don't work.
