App collected emails fine during event. Now it crashes upon opening, 100% of the time. If I uninstall it, I'll lose the emails. What happened?

Disappointed! Plan was to collect e-mails for competition entry but give sign ups the option to sign up or not to the newsletter, also needed contact numbers. Can only ask for e-mail and name. Means I'll just have to use the online version of the sign up form
