About this app

Sir Isaac’s Apple for Android is part of a set of tools for a new generation of scientists to observe the world.

The Isaac’s Apple system of applications is used to observe and record measurements from the sensors embedded in our smart devices. Real time sensor measurements can be observed on a graph and saved to a file. There are many interesting experiments in science and physics that become possible using the accelerometers, magnetometers, gyroscopes, and other sensors embedded in our phones and tablets.

Isaac's Apple for Android is used to observe the sensors on an Android phone or tablet. The application connects over WiFi to the Isaac's Apple Observer application on iPad or Windows PC. The observer applications will show the real time sensor measurement readings on a graph, and you can save the measurements to a file.

New features

- Updated to support the new iPad observer application.
- The app now automatically starts monitoring sensors on start-up.
- Fixed a bug where app would crash when phone had unknown sensor types.
- Improvements to the PC application include: download online files synced from the iPad observer and converting files to.CSV format.
