This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing LightspeedDMS on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Half of the time lately ive troed to use the app for work for RO's, the app wont even work. It freezes and quits is there an update being made to fix this?

I use to be able to answer my customers through the text feature and also text them first but now I get a failure notification everytime. It also will shut down. sometimes wont even open. I was using this app several times a day and now cannot use it at all. It is a communication tool especially during non work hours for my customers and I.

This app is used to type Tech notes into workorders. I have to input text into it daily. The app causes my tablet to type very very slowly. The latest update has made it so that the typing is so slow I cant even use the app. Works great on IOS, and in an android emulator on a laptop that has very high performance specs, but on a basic android tablet it is worthless. PLEASE FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ASAP please I need to do my job!

The camera function is quite bad, poor focusing, poor functionality. Possible to make it able to upload photos instead of using direct camera feature. So far everything else seems to work correctly. Update*(7-30-19) -- now cannot see any photos uploaded from another device, always says please try again later still uploading to server. however photos were taken weeks ago and still not uploaded, i can see mini image of phots but will not open.---

This isn't a app it's a virus!! Used this app for years now, and have had nothing but issues. App crashes, won't load pictures half the time, doesn't let you clock in half the time. And now it won't even load the app, open the app and it goes to the main selection screen then stops loading before any of the tiles load. App does not help efficiency of job at all.

So far the app has done well for me until a few weeks ago when it couldn't keep up with my typing. This is now a daily occurence and slows down workflow. If you could figure out a way to fix this issue that'd be great to help our efficiency on the job. Tom Meisner

The LightspeedDMS app is a new convenient way of accessing your dealership information to help manage your business anywhere, anytime on your Android device. It provides a fast, intuitive, and secure mobile integration to the LightspeedDMS dealer management system. The LightspeedDMS app is available free of charge to all dealers running the hosted LightspeedDMS application. Features will display based on modules purchased.

INSTALL
The Lightspeed app is only available to hosted LightspeedDMS customers. To see if your dealership is ready for mobile access, check for your Dealer ID and Remote Authorization Password found in the LightspeedDMS desktop application under the Help - System Info menu. You will need to enter this information only once when using the application for the first time. Each subsequent time upon entering the application you will be asked for your LightspeedDMS username and password.
