Great app. I've had this app installed on my phone for 3 years now. You have to be within 20ft of transformer to connect. Works seamless.

It doesn't work at all any longer. When I open it all I get is a white screen. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Same thing. Should have just put an on/off switch on the transformer.

this app is a trainwreck. connectivity is finicky. sometimes you can connect only once before it decides not to show up again. and if you switch to another app, you get disconnected, and you're screwed. updating programs never seems to stick. we have tried a dozen times. when you reconnect, your changes are gone. so you just turn the lights on and off manually. so when it refuses to connect and you have to go to sleep/work, you give up and leave the lights on. I wish I had another 500 characters

This product does not work properly. Timers do not change after being changed and saved. You end up having to manually turn the app light off, and to do so you have to be no more than 15 to 20 feet from the converter. You can delete the timers in the app but it does nothing but create false hope as 10 minutes later the app has programs/timers installed that you just deleted. This product is simply poorly designed and the app is counterintuitive

This app doesn't work half the time. Keep adding my own personal program to turn lights on and off when I want but that program always disappears to leave me with the default operation time of dusk to dawn. Using Samsung S8. Might return this transformer to my landscape contractor. App is terrible. I expect better. Two months later update: Apparently Alliance doesn't have an IT department. Or they don't inquire about consumer experiences with this product. I would think that the negative issues people are having with this product might have been resolved. Apparently not. Same issues as above, even after unit reboot (unplug) and uninstall/ re-install apps on iPad and Samsung S8. Will not turn on when i need it to. My personal program disappears. Goes on dusk to dawn when I don't want it to.

When it works, it's a good app for a great product. However, connecting is always an issue. It's wonky at best. I know once you set the times for on/off you don't go IN often, but I wanted to change the time the lights came on and it was a fiasco getting connected via bluetooth. Disconnect, restart phone, turn on bluetooth, search and search and finally it comes on. Good app, bad connectivity.
