The app not only pauses during dictation to give time to write but it also repeat the words, so that your child can continue to write without even glancing at the device.
It also allows the Audio-Visual Dictation by dictating the word with option to show the matching image of the word. This enables the child to learn the spelling well and to build the strong vocabulary for classes ahead.
