This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing KOMTRAX Mobile on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. App has not been updated in 5 years, doesn't function correctly, if at all. When clicking on the machine location, it tries to open it in apple maps. Waste of space on my phone.

Does not work for any upgraded phone...MUST UPDATE APP.. it crashes as soon as you open. Rating will change once fixed.

I uninstalled the older version and installed the updated version... same old problems. Input the unit info into the filter and update... the app still will not locate any machine. Tried it on multiple units. If this app worked as advertised it would be very useful. As it is... just taking up space on my phone. Fix the app please.

It would be nice if the app used Google maps instead of Microsoft maps like the computer version of Komtrax and allow you to use the maps for real time turn by turn directions. Working at a Komatsu dealership in the field I primarily use this app for locating and travelling to the machine.

Komatsu’s KOMTRAX goes Mobile! This app provides you with valuable information regarding your assets. Information that can help you get a quick overview of what your machines have been up to, and can get you in touch with your local distributor on the fly.

The KOMTRAX app offers innovative solutions such as:

1. Identify your machines’ locations and get driving directions to it from your phone’s location

2. Get hours of use on all of your assets

3. Identify wasteful idle time

4. Find out how much fuel was consumed

5. Get an overview of what cautions were triggered on your assets and exactly when they were triggered

6. Check any significant movements of your assets

7. Identify machines that had no communication

8. Find out which assets were not used with our “No Usage” feature

These features can be customized to view a specific time period from one day up to a month. In addition, the fleet can be filtered by a model, your unit number or a serial number.

Most importantly the KOMTRAX app gets you closer to your distributor. Send an email, text message or simply call your local distributor contact by using the “Hot Keys” right off the app. Connect with your local PSSR, Sales Rep, Service department, Parts counter or your KOMTRAX coordinator to further assist you.
