Kalami app is the first Arabic app in the world for non verbal persons to better communicate with others based on PECs that was initially published in 2014.

This is limited free version that only allow access to level1 (50 Images/words)

kalami Is a mobile application that can be used to help Non Verbal Persons to better communicate with other persons in their communities based on the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECs).

Kalami’s Top Features
There were many considerations taken into account when creating Kalami app including:
1-the drawings and symbols used were created by Advance to suit our culture.
2-voice options were designed to give the choices for a boy’s voice, girl’s voice, woman’s voice, and man’s voice to appropriately fit with different intended users.
3-each user’s strengths, abilities and needs could be matched when choosing which mode to apply, i.e.: picture only, picture + word, word only.
4-in built support features were provided such as allowing saving commonly used sentences/phrases into the “favorites” files.
5-Provides access to 500 pictures and symbols (Full version only).
