This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing KanTime ICE on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

User interface is awful. Color HAS IMPROVED. Still buggy. Eye strain for 12 hours, 7 days in a row. App will not scroll down to next section. Cannot tell where the cursor is. High contrast fonts make it worse. Please put clock in app, up in corner...Cannot tell between am or pm on clock settings? Why not make them a different color of go to military time... or do not put zeros im front of pm time,, that is incorrect, am times only have zeros in front.for example, 0700 is 7 am 7:00 is 7pm

Randomly stops in the middle of documenting. Repetitive and time consuming. Not able to copy from last visit. Needs more drop downs with options. Developer needs to sit down with a nurse and have them show you what we need bc the developer isn't going to know, clinically, what info would be helpful to put in the drop downs. With a just a few changes it could take a load off of QA as well.

Wont copy from previous visit. Wont synch. Can't document offline. Every field has to be entered with keystrokes. It does not even come close to meet my documentation needs at this time.

Whomever wrote this software clearly doesn't work in nursing, or understand 12 hour shift documentation. Worst electronic charting software EVER! Typing the same info in multiple places increases the chances of incorrect entries or entries that don't match up. Figure out how to make things like vitals, intake/output, abdominal circumference auto fill where necessary so double and triple charting doesn't have to be done, it's time consuming and frustrating. And PLEASE PUT A CLOCK IN!!!
