This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing FiberChekMOBILE on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

I have been using this app since it came out, with S3, S5 and now S7 and S8! Ever since latest update it just keeps trying to initialize on fist screen and never does work! I had a fiber outage this morning and tried over and over to no avail! I got my 5800 out and trouble shot issue and it turned out to be a faulty SFP in the router! Fiber check Mobile was absolutely no help! Please correct asap! Thank you from someone who needs this daily!!

It would be great if FiberChek would disable my screen timer, so i didn't have to unlock the phone every so often, when scoping multiple fibres.

Viavi 5000i is not compatible with the Samsung S10 with the USB C port. it works but says there is no tip present and will not run a test but will focus in on the fiber tip

FiberChekMOBILE™ is the mobile version of the popular VIAVI FiberChekPRO™ software program to inspect, test, and certify fiber connectors in an optical network. FiberChekMOBILE works in conjunction with VIAVI test products such as the FiberChek™ Sidewinder™, FiberChek Probe, and P5000i digital analysis probe microscopes. Once connected, users can view live images of the fiber connector end face, focus the image, perform automated Pass/Fail analyses, generate certification reports, and send results instantly via cellular data to Dropbox™, Google Drive™, or email.
