Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ITEL Mobile Lab App on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. First- Testing materials is not something a field Rep should be doing we are not scientists of pricing and the processes are ridiculous. I've compared MANY tests from the mobile app to physical results using identical product and have gotten very different prices. This is not a good solution for accurate testing and I'm surprised ITEL is willing to take on such a huge liability in the insurance industry with this method.

Once you use the app several times you become more familiar with it. They should provide webnar or training which would have saved us learning by trial & error. They did call us & provide great support once we told them of our user inexperience.

Working in the vinyl siding industry for 10 years on the distributor side, you cannot replace the naked eye and side by side evaluations of the piece from your home and color swatches. If your siding is faded, and you match the fade, the old siding will darken up in the rain and the new pieces you use to patch your wall will stick out like a turd in a punch bowl. The only purpose of this app is to help the lazy, and give insurance companies leverage to screw their customers out of claims.

We were instructed to use this app, but we cannot keep it open more than a few seconds. I am using an S6. Please help!

Is annoying, frustrating and some times a waste of time. It allows me to put all the info but when I chose "Test material on site" it doesn't allow me to chose the next steps. The drop down box does not work. I have uninstall the app and install it again. I went as far as reseting my phone and erase everything, just to get this app working. Nothing. Fix it please!!!!

Property adjusters, contractors, and stores can put the ITEL lab at their fingertips with the ITEL Mobile Lab app. With the app, you can receive accurate flooring pricing and siding and asphalt roofing matches direct from our lab in just 30 minutes!

The ITEL app guides you through taking the necessary photos and measurements for upload to our lab, where every test is performed by an ITEL analyst. The app supports flooring, siding, asphalt roofing, and area rugs (imported and domestic):


• Flooring: ITEL will return a lab report with accurate retail replacement price for carpet, wood, vinyl, laminate, and pad/underlayment in just 30 minutes. Same-day service is also available.
• Siding and Roofing: ITEL will find the best available matches for damaged siding and roofing. Reports are returned within 30 minutes and include matching product information and photographs. Contact info is also provided for the closest distributors.
• Area Rugs: A Certified Rug Appraisal is returned to you by the next business day. Appraised value and Like Kind and Quality replacement products are included along with your submitted photos.

Getting started is easy:
1. Download the app.
2. Contact ITEL Customer Service at 800-890-4835 to register your account and order an ITEL Mobile Toolkit for flooring or roofing and siding. If you already have an app account, you can order the kit at supplies.itelinc.com.
3. Once you receive your kit, you’re ready for your first claim! The test fee for each claim is conveniently billed to the same account you use when sending samples to the lab.
