This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing iRevo SmartTV Apps on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

iRevo Apps is designed to enhance your TV experience. Now, you can playback content from the most popular websites and applications on the web, all from a single application. iRevo Apps also supports sharing via social networks and e-mail, as well as the ability to “favorite” content with one click.

The iRevo Apps collection for Google TV includes popular photo apps like Facebook, Flickr and Picasa; video apps like Youtube, Dailymotion and Podcasts; the MyWeb app provides news, personalized stock quotes, weather and horoscopes; and the TV Browser enables you to visit popular TV friendly websites for news and entertainment. iRevo Apps also includes built-in applications to play photos, videos and music stored on your Google TV device.

In iRevo Apps presents a modern Set Top Box like graphical user interface and you can choose from a collection of visual themes. Switching between these apps is quick and easier then closing an app and restarting another one. Apps are natively designed for 720p and 1080p (Full HD) display resolutions and supports photos and videos playback at up to Full HD resolution.

In addition to the collection of apps, iRevo Apps now offers TelePlay. This feature enables you to access content on your Android phone or tablet and then play it (screen shift it) on your Google TV device running iRevo Apps. TelePlay is easy to use, once you pair your Android tablet or phone with your Google TV, touching a photo, video or music thumbnail on your phone or tablet will play them on Google TV. We call it PlayThere! If you choose, you can view photos on a device in your hand and flick through it with gestures. As you do that, you will see the pictures being updated on Google TV display, this is a PlayTogether mode of TelePlay.

TelePlay functionality is similar to Apple’s Airplay, and is easier and more reliable than DLNA driven applications like Twonky and iMediashare.

iRevo Apps includes applications to play photos, videos and music stored on Google TV device or TelePlaying of it from your phone or tablet on Google TV device. All of the apps are organized with simplicity in mind, and iRevo Apps offers several themes for users to customize their experience. iRevo Apps offers faster and easier control than the traditional separate apps and is designed for HD (720p) and Full HD (1080p) playback.

Getting started:
(1) Install the iRevo Apps application on your GoogleTV.
(2) Register and Login or Login with your Facebook account.
(3) Now you can start browsing and viewing the content.

For TelePlaying content from your Android phone or tablet, install the iRevo Apps on your phone or tablet.
