Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Sky Inspect on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

So far, so good. There are some things that are not mentioned in any of the tutorial videos about syncing this app with reports in ACI sky, but the support staff was very quick in responding to my questions. This app will literally save hours of your day. No more uploading photos from your phone to computer, no more having to hand draw a sketch and realizing you're off by a few feet after you drive an hour home and it's already dark outside and you're late as it is. Major game changer.

Typical ACI bs - no way to initiate password reset from Android and online support is a joke (can't do any work while waiting for a rep's help on my PC, anytime you open a new window or even activate one already open on computer support chat window closes).

SKY INSPECT APP FOR DATA COLLECTION IN THE FIELD

Speed up your inspections by collecting data, capturing photos, and sketching on your Android device. Then sync with Sky Report or even share inspections with your office assistant to get reports prepped while you head to your next appointment.

Because you're in the cloud, Sky centralizes the use of reports, templates, and data for your company. Coupled with the Sky Inspect app - It's unlike anything available in another appraisal software.

DATA
To keep Sky Inspect minimal and intuitive, it contains only the fields you need while you’re out conducting an inspection. Picklists can be found throughout the app so that you can fly through data collection by tapping on Yes/No buttons and dropdown menus.

PHOTOS
Now you can have one device to rule them all, by taking all of your photos on your smart phone or tablet. Sky pre-defines the main photos you need to capture on any inspection. As you continue to capture photos you can select labels from the extensive list or add your own custom photo label. Upon syncing, Sky automatically adds the photos to your report on the proper photo pages.

SKETCHING
Create detailed sketches in the field by tapping with your fingertip. Quickly define lengths, angles, arcs and areas. Pinch to zoom and pan, then tap to drop in symbols and labels.
