POS. If you can get through an entire update you're having a good day.

Every couple weeks the app says there's a problem with HID servers and the only way to use the app again is to uninstall and reinstall

Garbage app. Doesn't do anything, nfc has no exit, forcing you to force close the app if you can't comnect to the reader. Also forced you to register for an account. Absolute garbage, but what can you expect when their windows app does nothing but hang.

Be very careful using this version. Sometimes it drops the last character of the reader name.

App itself works, but it is too time consuming tool for actual work. It takes ages to configure many readers, also requires rebooting of readers in configuring process. So it is not convenient at all. I do not understand how HID thinks that it is a best way to configure readers. Just to put OSDP address to the reader, takes up to 3 minutes per one reader. Imagine that you have 200 readers to program... App should have back button, if something fails you need to close app and reopen

About this app

HID Reader Manager streamlines management of compatible HID Signo, iCLASS SE® and multiCLASS SE readers in the field. Administrators can easily adjust configuration settings, upgrade firmware, inspect and export current reader status, and upgrade compatible readers to support Bluetooth and/or OSDP.

-Bluetooth is used to communicate with the reader hardware. If Bluetooth is not enabled communication to readers will not function.
-Calendar is used to log the error/information.  If Calendar is not enabled logging will not function.
-Location is used to obtain the location of the Reader for administration purpose and improving user experience.  If Location is not enabled communication to readers will not function.

New features
