About this app

台灣護理學會成立於民國3年（西元1914年），第一屆全國護士大會在上海召開時訂名為「中華護士會」。1932年向政府正式登記為人民團體時奉命以「中華護士學會」名稱立案。1942年更名為「中國護士學會」重新向政府登記立案人民團體。1960年在台北登記為「中華民國護士學會」，1961年更名為「中華民國護理學會」，並於2002年5月更名為「台灣護理學會」沿用至今。
本會於1922年加入國際護理協會（International Council of Nurses, ICN），1949年遷台後曾與該會中斷聯繫，於1961年恢復會籍。ICN總會設在瑞士日內瓦，理事會每四年改選一次。ICN理事會設理事長1人、副理事長3人、理事11人，本會自1997年至今在理事會中皆佔有一理事席次，並於2001年由余玉眉博士當選ICN第三副理事長，2009年由尹祚芊博士當選ICN第二副理事長，2013年由李選博士當選ICN理事。
本會積極參與ICN所舉辦的各項活動，活躍於國際舞台。2005年，以地主國身分舉辦ICN國家代表會議暨23屆國際護士大會，共計148個國家四千多位貴賓參與盛會。2008年，於本會國際會議廳召開第九屆ICN亞洲人力論壇與第五屆亞洲護理學會聯盟會議。2011年，本會與ICN共同辦理國際認證暨法規論壇（Credentialing and Regulators Forum），共14國44位護理法規制定者及ICN代表及多國的衛生部護理官員共同參加。學會推動務實護理專業外交不遺餘力、成果豐碩，也大大地提昇本會在國際間的地位、能見度與護理專業形象，更為台灣護理留下許多歷史性的精采實錄。
