This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing GS1 Logger on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

With the GS1 Logger application you can collect and verify the validity of barcodes by scanning. You can obtain data from a range of data sources (e.g. GEPIR – GS1 Global Electronic Party Information Registry), and also you can use the internet to link location-specific information (Location Database based on coordinate information provided by Eurostat, operated by GS1 Hungary), map and date/time to the available data, and also send email reports with photos about your activities.

What kind of functions the GS1 Logger application has to offer?
-Scanning GS1 standardized barcodes (linear, 2D) – based on a barcode reader license
-Capturing all GS1 ID Keys manually
-Verifying the user’s right to use barcodes and filtering out illegal numbers
