Requires FULL TIME LOCATION ACCESS! And it keeps the access until you disable it. Can't figure out why, no other apps need full time location access. Doesn't say how far deliveries are. You have to guess at the distance and you can't even zoom in on the map. Orders are hardly ever ready when you get to the restaurant. Half the time, the restaurant hasn't even started the order or doesn't even know about it.

When I get an offer I can no longer move the map around to see surrounding streets,areas, zoom in or out. It is basically now just a picture of the location and drop-off (sometimes it is so zoomed into the pickup location I can't see the drop-off location and normally I would just zoom out and find it myself so I can appropriately decide to accept or decline but I can no longer move the offers map around (not to be confused with the actual GPS map, that works fine.) Is this new or a glitch?

So fare, my only concern is the unsettling fact that Grubhub wants your location information ALL THE TIME. They give an opinion for (maybe later) in which case you can select (only while in use) although you will not be able to except tasks until you give them your location info all the time.. They say there only taking your information when you're expecting tasks but want access to it all the time... this is unfortunate and really not necessary information for them to have ALL THE TIME.

Terrible app. The app has difficulty locating drivers. You are marked absent before you can get what passes for telephone app. Telephone support can mistakenly delete your hours but cannot fix their own mistakes while you are speaking with them 1 in 10 know what they are doing. Some times I wonder if mistakes are intended so they cut payroll costs

Every other app which uses Location on my phone will be 100% functional when this app suddenly reports my location hasn't been updated recently. I receive an automated text threatening to kick me off my scheduled block unless I fix the problem. This has happened countless times, and I've been removed from my scheduled block while on the phone with Driver Care. The low pay for high mileage and hard work is ridiculous, especially when paired with this constant experience of zero support.

Terrible app. It will have you offline & don't alert you. Then you call grubhub for help & they can barely speak your language. You accept an order & get to the restaurant to pick it up only to find out another driver picked it up. You don't receive any compensation for your time. I'm really thinking about leaving grubhub alone & going to another pick up service. There's no customer service for drivers. Oh & it seem that the pay is getting less while the orders are getting bigger.
