Lokasi yang nyaman dengan suasana kampung, dikelilingi sawah padi bertingkat (teres). Berhampiran kaki Gunung Singgalang. Air dari gunung tersebut mengalir ditepi rumah. Sumber air yang tiada putus yang membolehkan petani mengerjakan sawah tanpa musim.

Tidak berapa jauh dari rumah ini terdapat sebuah gunung berapi iaitu Gunung Merapi. Keindahan alam ciptaan Illahi yang menghijau, cuaca yang sejuk, segar dan nyaman menjadi tarikan pelancung kesini.

Makanan masakan Padang asli yang enak enak dengan harga yang berpatutan juga menjadi daya penarik.

Jarak dari rumah ke Kota Bukitiinggi lebih kurang 5 km.

Bukittinggi terkenal juga dengan kain sulam yang menjadi gilaan kaum wanita jika kesini. Begitu juga dengan telekung sulam yang cantik cantik dan buatan tangan yang halus.
